LOOTLOCK
An adhesive wallet for smart phones
About
I designed and engineered LootLock. LootLock is a universal adhesive wallet for smart phones that allows for card privacy, interchangeability, and wireless charging. My goal was to update and evolve Speck’s existing wallet case based on market research, user feedback, and human centered needs.

In order to design for manufacturing I utilized ultrasonic welding technology to achieve the final design. This avoided undercuts and excessive sliders and lifters in tooling.

Final Product
A super-slim stick-on wallet that gives you a more secure way to hold up to 3 cards or cash. LootLock’s no-stretch casing was built for security. It easily locks 1-3 cards or cash in place. Even if you drop LootLock, your cash and cards will stay. For total security, flip LootLock’s storage casing over & snap into place to completely conceal your cards, cash, or ID. When you need to charge your mobile device, simply remove LootLock’s casing and snap back into place when you’re charged. LootLock has a universal design that will work with most cases and devices.
